Prenuptial agreements

More and more couples who are planning to marry or enter into a civil partnership wish to set out clearly what should happen with their assets in the event that their marriage or civil partnership unfortunately breaks down.

Whilst Prenuptial Agreements are not yet legally binding on the Courts, increasingly the Courts are taking such agreements into account when deciding how assets should be divided upon divorce or dissolution, although ultimately this will depend on the circumstances of each particular case.
