Children Disputes, Prenuptial Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements and Disputes, Civil Partnership Dissolution, Domestic Violence and Harassment Injunctions.

If you are thinking of getting married or living with someone, we also deal with prenuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements or living together agreements.

Our Family Law Department is headed by Peter Burden, a Partner in the firm and an Accredited Resolution Specialist. Peter is also a Member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and a trained Mediator.

Peter and his team will deal with you compassionately and professionally and offer a high quality, friendly service, giving realistic and pragmatic advice in what can be difficult times.

Peter is also a trained Family Mediator and whilst we realise that Mediation is not suitable in all cases, mediation can provide an alternative and cost effective approach of achieving a settlement without the need for Court proceedings.

We charge on a hourly rate basis. Peter’s hourly rate is £185.00 plus VAT.

We offer a fixed fee first interview of £100.00 including VAT for up to a one hour consultation.

We also have a contract with the Legal Services Commission to provide legal aid services in Family Law. Please contact us for information about eligibility.
